Session Fees

Individual 1 hr session - $175 

Individual 1.5 hr session - $250

Couples 1 hr session - $200 

Couples 1.5 hr session - $275

Sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between hours of 11am-7pm

Payment Information 

Please note that all sessions are self -pay sessions. Forms of  payment accepted are: Cash, Check, Health Savings Account (HSA), credit card, PayPal, Wire.  All cash payments receive a discount. All payments are due at time of service.  

Cancellation Policy 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please allow 24 hours. If you do not give a 24-hour cancellation notice, a full session charge may be applied. 

Insurance Information 

I made a decision not to take insurance.  


Most people understand the benefits of using insurance, but do you know the risks?
 

Here are just a few:
1. In order for your insurance to pay for counseling, you need to receive a mental health diagnosis that remains in your records.
2. Providing documentation to an insurance company robs 15-20 minutes from your session and shares details of your mental health.
3. There are limits that might be placed on the number of sessions that you can receive.
4. Your choice of therapist is limited and dictated by your insurance company.
5. Your insurance company might consider covering your couples or family counseling only as long as you are diagnosed with a mental heath disorder. 
6. Using your insurance for mental health can potentially impact your future insurance coverage.

If you still want to use insurances, I can provide you with the document (superbill) to submit for your insurance company for your session reimbursement. 

Benefits of Receiving Therapy in Private Pay

  • No medical mental health diagnosis on your records

  • Confidentiality (Insurance companies require for you to have a mental health diagnosis that is kept on your records and also submitted to the Medical Information Bureau (MIB). This can impact your eligibility for future insurance coverage, life insurance, and/or disability insurance. This is never a concern in private pay, and your information is kept private).

  • There is no limit placed on the number of sessions (or on the duration of each session) that you can receive.
